Psalms 95:6
Come let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
2 Samuel 6:14-15
Matthew 26:6-13
"Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached through out the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
Today's devotion talks about what type of posture you reflect to others. Your posture not only is the way you sit or stand or kneel but your attitude. Do you cross your arms, rolls your eyes or pay attention and look at the person you are talking to? I know I cross my arms a lot when I am just standing just out of habit but that can also cause people to not want to approach me or think I have an attitude problem. I have to say my attitude isn't always great but I like meeting new people and hearing their stories and would love for that to happen to me more often than not. I pray God softens my heart to let people in and hear their story. Some people just need someone to talk to sometimes.
Jesus showed perfect posture when he was crucified for our sins, showing humility and compassion, selflessness and patience. Expressing those qualities in your home and towards your husband you will fill your home with peace and win your husband over with true love.
Be aware of how your attitude is expressed through your body language.
